Areon would bump his way through whoever he needed to with his key and teleport to the new area, laughing as he swung his large weapon around and getting a feel for it.
"This is going to be awesome, just you wait."
He'd start off towards the tomb, noting another person also already on the move. To hell with that, Areon was going to be first! He'd take off at a light job, no way he wasn't getting this shit done first.

Not typically one to tease, but overcome by the sheer level of cute, Selena bent down and playfully pet the top of Ken Okazaki's head. "You are! You are so little and cute. This is even better than baby pictures." And, with that, she giggled some more. At Ken's suggestion they stick together, the white-haired healer simply nodded in agreement, having been her plan from the start. From what she could tell, Selena didn't know anyone else here, and so she would undoubtedly stick close to her one friend. She began, "Sounds like a plan."And then she saw a half-naked avatar running around and crying regarding something about a sword, and the doctor pursed her lips, immediately wishing she could take back her words. She deadpanned. While an open woman, Selena couldn't help but look at Ayden Black™ with a hint of disapproval and feeling disappointment over some people's poor decision-making skills. They could just ignore him, right? How difficult that would only prove to be later given who soon strolled up, after Ken mentioned something about having a battle tank, to which she looked at him in confusion. She hadn't played video games in a quite a long time, but something about that didn't sound right at all. "Tank? Do you mean like a war tank? Ken, I, uh... I'm not sure that's ri-"The warrior to approach them confirmed her suspicion and offered a proper explanation of the role, and she closed her mouth. Selena then quirked a brow in mild surprise and intrigue. The blonde warrior-looking fellow seemed to know Ken, even using a suffix, and she couldn't help but wonder the context. However, with them having a game to learn and explore, it didn't seem the time or place to make personal inquiries. Leon then offered the white-haired healer a big smile, which she returned with a smaller one and mirrored his wave. "Of course! The more, the merrier, right?" she looked to Ken as she said so, peering down at his lil' armored face. That would be alright, wouldn't it? Selena then turned back to the warrior and added, "Admittedly, I don't really know what I am doing. Been ages since I've last played a game. So all the help and guidance I can get is appreciated." That being said, healing? Yeah, that felt right. If she could pull off any role, it was that. |

With Areon out front he would be the first to find some mobs once they made eye contact a field of energy surrounded them as the combat arena. Everyone else would be able to see it as they approached and the blue haired character would float over head. While inside Areon would find himself the target of a bulky armed golem. And what looked like a goblin with a magic tome charging something.
"This is a combat arena, you can see any battle taking place on the field because of this and by running into it you may join the fray, or run against the wall when inside to try and escape. The choice is in your hands."
Vivi would find herself in a bit of a pickle as one of her foot steps threw leaves into her vision before she was yanked by the leg by a rope and tossed rather far into the water... However, she was at a beach much closer to the tomb now...
The blue haired character would approach Zade and nod.
"Different color keys, different shapes and sizes, different types of keys. All take you to a different dungeon, but as long as another player has the same key you can go to the same place. By holding the key out to someone else, they obtain a copy of that key. You can also post the account link on our website forum if you find an especially challenging dungeon to challenge other players to try it for themselves."
As they spoke Zade would find himself in view of a treasure chest!
Ayden could in fact find monsters! Two of them to be specific, big headed goblin like creatures with make shift metal weapons. As soon as they made eye contact an energy field would appear and he was now inside as the goblins charged him swinging with their weapons wildly!

Ken wasn't sure how to feel about Selena's reaction or the petting of his head. He hadn't been subject to this sort of treatment from her. Of course he knew she was teasing him. Soon enough, Leon would show up and explain the finer details to him. Ken wasn't really familiar with all the terminology so he was quick to accept.
"Of course you can- Don't even need to ask."
Ken would turn to look up at Selena, before shifting back to Leon as they spoke and then toward their surroundings again. Ken would get a better understanding of this, he was sure. He was adaptable. He just hoped he didn't put himself at some sort of disadvantage.
"I'm in the same boat she is. I think you're going to have to lead the way, Oyabun."
Ken's role was to protect them. He could do that, he supposed. Or at the very least, meat shield for them until he went down in glory. Something like that.

As the rest of players chatter, some took off in anticipation of reaching the tomb first. Others continued to pair up, but Zade still had not spoken to another player character the whole time that they have been here. "Fair enough, thank you" Zade said to the blue haired NPC. Zade had dabbled in video games in his youth, slicing and dicing the noobs that populated Old Town and was having fun so far. "Hmm, lets try this!" Zade said as he rose a pointer finger toward the sky. "It wasd wise not to use my ability at the spawn area... probably would've gotten me fried, but now..." His voice trailed off.
Zade took a couple steps away from the group. He rose his hand that was equipped with the Necronomicon into the air facing the chest. "Seethe" Zade said as the eye on the front of the Necronomicon began to look around frantically then it began to bleed. Small black wisps of smoke would escape from the closed pages of the book. Soon enough a line of green bubbles began to ooze from in front of Zade's feet. The bubbles formed a snail trail that would slowly lead its way forward as Zade kept pace with his spell. He would hope to reach the treasure chest, open it and claim the contents that were inside. Unless chest monster.

Mongoose had not been idle. Even while chatting with Viddy (and laughing inside his head as he dragged along their apparent healer at said healer's antics) he had been listening and watching others. He had indeed noticed the man complaining of having no tank to a friend who seemed in healer garb, and was corrected by someone far more experienced with a melee weapon. Bringing Viddy and Clementine along he approached the trio peaceably.
"Would you three perhaps be willing to team up with us? While we have a healer and a lot of long-range firepower ourselves, our melee capabilities are lacking. On the other hand, we can provide a lot of ranged support and keep any long-range attackers focusing away from you so you can handle your foes with ease."
Diplomacy and negotiation. Works in all worlds. A 6 man band of tank, melee dps, 2 ranged dps, and 2 healers would be one hell of a power party.

Viddy dragged his feline healer over to the group that Mongoose chose to approach, and gave a nod to them. He looked around and murmured, "If this is a race, though, we might want to get going pretty soon. We're already a little bit behind."

The Avatar known as Spike would grin wide.
"Let's go!"
He'd wave for everyone to follow him that was able to and start making his way to the tomb. The more the better, if this boss was like the original FoNE, they'd need everyone to bring it down, or play like professionals.

When the field appeared Areon grinned.
"Good! Now they can't run!"
He would charge the monsters and start slashing madly!

As the groups still at the beginning finally started moving they would notice the monsters in the field beginning to retreat towards the tomb since a few combat area's were scattered about. Meaning the monsters would be more dense at the tomb.
Zade would find his acid spells of corrosion effects would actually kill the plant life it came in contact with and lead right up to the chest. When he opened it he found a notification that he found a scroll called "Geo Spikes" and the explanation states "Launch rock spikes at target [L]". The MP Drain from using his spell over such a wide field seemed to be about 1/4th his total MP.
Areon would find his mad swings did not accomplish much except a hit here or there. The large creatures and their crude weapons were swift to block or deflect as well as dodge from time to time. He would actually find he was taking more damage than he was dishing out, though lucky for him he was a Tank class.

Vivi was thinking about what she wanted for dinner during her careless trek towards the tomb when she felt rope wrap around her ankle. It was in that moment, she knew she--
"FUUUUU--" the purple haired woman yelled as she was launched through the air. After what seemed like way too long of a time being air born she fell into some water and frantically swam to shore.
"Damn, this stuff's immersive," she grumbled. Once she'd made it to her feet it was clear she was actually closer to her destination now. That would seem like a good thing, but all the monsters were headed that way now too. Oh well. Vivi started sprinting towards the temple, the idea of getting to use her ice magic on something sounded appealing.

At the group of three approaching Selena, she turned to them and offered a smile. "I personally like the sound of that. You are definitely welcome to join us~"
At Ken's friend(?) suggesting they go ahead, the healer gulped and walked alongside the ranged spellcasters and the other healer, assuming she was meant to stay closer to them than with the melee fighters. But before doing so, she offered a wave and nod of support to Ken, silently conveying he could do this (even without the tank!) Upon entering the tomb, the white-haired avatar stared wide-eyed at all of the tremendous detail, and stiffened at the enemies ahead even as they retreated. That just meant there would be more of them in a concentrated area, right? With careful eyes, she looked around and watched her teammates, prepared to shout out locations of enemies and to heal her friends if need be.

As the game went on a sudden static would cross everyones field of vision before it corrected. All the monsters turned staged like a small army at the gate to the tomb, before the buildings roof would explode outwards with smoke and chunks of rubble landing everywhere, exploding on impact with dirt and debris. A large skeletal creature would go to a full standing position holding a massive sword with rusted holes in it roaring into the sky which shook and became dark. Rain falling suddenly on the field causing large puddles.
The blue haired character would look shocked.
"This isn't right for this field! Terminating test!"
Everyone's headset would shut down and they would be free to remove it. The Green haired man would sigh loudly.
"Well, at least the random event generator is working."
He would laugh it off, and everyone gets!
