Her shop a quiet little place it was also her home and she lived in the back of it.
When approaching one would see it with a wide glass window lit up to display labelled vibrant plants for sale it also had security bars over it for added protection. On the inside it was warm and rows of tables stood about waist high with various lights dangling above them in the middle of each ran a pipe which had a timer specific to each table when so and so minutes passed a small spray would soak the soil through a branching pipe. There were further plants neatly organized on each wall some hanging upside down on one side and on the other there were a few shelves with growing mushrooms labelled and displayed. When one entered there was silent buzzer that only Faythe heard and she would appear from the back pull down her mask and smile with a welcoming gloves wave to her new customer before putting the mask up to cover her face once more.
If one was quick enough they'd catch more plants in the back where she came from. If they were knowledgeable even in the darker lighting they might notice those plants were not wholly... Legal.

Entering the Shop Leon would take a few glances around, he wasn't the fastest with observation, so the stuff in the back didn't catch his eye, but there were things he wished to discuss with someone operating in Western District. Especially in the ways of... Herbs. Seeing the owner of the establishment appear and wave he would return the wave with his own gloved hand, the only skin visible on the man being his face and the scars that were present. His suit was all black with an olive green button up shirt and black tie. He also had a suit vest on under his jacket, but he didn't show that off either.
"Greetings my name is Leon Sudeki, I am a local business owner and I've heard about your little shop here with a lot of natural ingredients and natural healing remedies."

he int the first well-dressed client to come and visit. some were regulars with dep pockets and asked for a wide range of things.
She brought out a ringed binder of her stock and a card atop it was laminated in a sleeve.
"Hi, I'm Faythe, I apologize for introducing myself this way but I can not speak. I am pleased to meet you and I hope you'll understand."
in addition, it was labeled "Herbalist Selection. feel free to take as long as you need to view our wares."

Leon would smile as he read the introduction and flipped a few pages in the binder.
"You know this is usually the time when I was younger where I'd start passive aggressively threatening you about the dangers of the neighborhood and then 'accidentally' break something and intimidate you into some sort of security insurance bullshit to get you under thumb. However, this shop and what you do is too important for that kind of relationship."
Leon would scratch at the stubble on his chin before continuing.
"So instead I would like to offer a business deal. Every month I'll buy herbs from you in bulk, and even send some people here from time to time to act as couriers and sell some of the 'herbs' you grow on the streets. As compensation you will have protection under the full authority I can provide."

her brow arched and she grew a bit stiffer. she pondered heavily on his request and remembered the other day of the scarred man she had met during a massacre. she recognizes his face and stiffened further. she pulled a notebook out to scribble her reply.
How much in-bulk are we talking about?"

Leon would ponder the question asked of him for a few moments. He wasn't really focused on the other people at the massacre, but something about the way she moved was familiar like a fleeting thing out of the corner of his eyes.
"Well I'll make an order depending on my needs, so I suspect it will be somewhere in the ballpark of about a quarter of what you currently make in a year. Plus bonuses depending on the street sales."

She had long wanted to upgrade many points in her shop and even getting a better location was on her list.
She scribbled on her paper. "I am actually very sickly and somedays will be difficult to work, if I had some aid in my shop from a few I can approve of I can see making these bulk deliveries, I just can't pay much for them myself due to my limited mobility and clientele. I can see us turning a profit if that can be achieved. furthermore... I'm assuming you are not someone bound by usual rules some of my product has secret ingredients if you'd like to take a look?"
she gestured a hand to the back room.

"That can be arranged."
Leon nodded while he read the paper, he figured over seeing this job would be a good start for Ken as an actual member of his family now. He would nod when he finished reading and look to where she gesture with her hand.
"Please, lead the way."
He would offer to follow her. It was her store after all.

And she would lead him to the back the door slid open quietly and it was a bit warmer with the more narrow heat lamps. It was nothing too illegal but not good in such large quantities as she was showing him. Most if used right would have some hallucinogenic after effects otherwise they were known for dulling pain and quieting loud minds.
she scribbled in her note pad. "I don't sell these for the street uses it is only for my most needed clients who have severe pains and ailments from old wounds and crippling constitutions. Whoever you pay to help me I'll need the utmost confidence they will be sworn to secrecy and will not steal from me."

"Hmm, so you treat people with these. See, these I am most interested in for mass production. Though we would obviously never steal from you, you have my word."
He'd shrug and turn to the female once more.
"Shinko-chan, how about we try a stipulation contract. We will give it a months, try out the deal for a bit, and either of us can cut it off if it seems too much."

she blinked a couple of times in confusion at the name he gave her.
"Some of these ingredients I cant get for months at a time and at limited quantities, I fear it will be difficult to achieve these in bulk they come from far across the sea."

Leon would hum a thought as he placed his hand to his chin and crossed his other arm over his chest.
"Then I will need to acquire a boating business to help with ingredient acquisition."
Leon would chuckle to himself. Though he wondered if it would be easier to hit the airport instead. Such difficulties in transportation.
"What do you think, Shinko-chan? Plane or boat?"

she made a pondering thought on his plane idea before starting to scribble more.
"I usually do business with a merchant down at the docks by boat but it does take months before she comes around again. however, security is far laxer by boat than a plane. far less expensive too, however, I know not of the extent your generosity is. I suppose I'll sign your stipulation contract and if you get me the materials and manpower that I require then transportation is absolutely up to you on."

Leon would nod along as he read her writing and would chuckle.
"Well maybe we can just upgrade the boat merchant you deal with. Might be easier, but that is also not within our sphere of influence. The Docks are controlled by another group... Dunno about putting a civilian in that much danger. We'll see."
He'd ponder again.
"Well since you've let me see your operation, before you sign, how about I show you mine?"

she blinked another time in a bit of shock. it was surprisingly open that he would return the favor usually these types swear further secrecy than they request.
She nodded in agreement to his offer. she would walk to a nearby coat rack and grab a gray knit poncho and a wide-brimmed hat. it only takes a few seconds before she was ready and looking to him to lead the way.
