Faythe started closing up her windows again after seeing the strange lights and the ominous over cast. The effort wore her out for a moment but she watched where the pillar showed its light. She was debating on weather it was smarter to take cover from some kind of attack or head to it.

"Fuck!" WR would nearly fall out of their chair, wincing and rubbing the back of their neck. They would continue rubbing it even though the pain stopped after a brief intense moment, their head shooting over to the door as Stevie began pounding on it. They would jump to their feet, grab their bag and bomber, and open the door before responding, feeling a strong urge to nonstop run to the Western District.
"Yeah, fine, the hell was that?" Assuming she felt it too. They didn't even notice what was going on toward the Western District until they were outside, and their eyes would widen in both confusion and captivation. With the urge they felt a moment ago, it made sense. Was it because of the mark? What the hell was going on?
They would quickly get in Rai's car, exchange a silent glace, and wait until they stopped to do anything else.

I stopped dead in the middle of the street as the sky reverberated. My eye slowly looked upwards before narrowing as the crimson wave spread out. I slipped the flask back in my pocket. This seemed like as good a time as any to come out of retirement. I needed to get there quickly, The baby owl gryphon would be the fastest way for me to get there. I slipped a finger and my thumb into my mouth, putting out my right hand to the side and let out a whistle.
"Come Fluffybottom! It's time to fly!"
I waited a moment, but the only thing I noticed was someone honking their horn as they slowly rolled up enough to tap my leg with their bumper. Shit. I began running towards where the beam came. Ahhhhh I'm too drunk for this! I could feel my stomach rumbling as hand approached my mouth. I had to pick now of all times to decide to be a hero? No stop that. Come on. I swallowed hard and picked up my pace as I continued running.
"FUCK THIS STUPID CITY!"
It was then that I noticed a bus that continued running it's course, it seemed to be heading in the direction the beam came from so I jumped over and grabbed onto the rails on the top of the bus used for strapping down oversized cargo.

Christa was serving a customer when the irregularities began to occur, luckily it was a to go order.
"You alright?"
She must've noticed some hint of pain on her face as the mark did it's thing, "Ah, I'll be fine. Enjoy." She turned her head as the customer left, noticing the light fading to red. With a sigh, Christa grabbed her leather jacket and made her way outside to examine the problem. The red beam of light stuck out like a sore thumb, and it didn't take a genius to know that it was probably the source of whatevers going on. She locks the door behind her and starts making her way towards the red beam.

Addy would let out a sharp yelp as her shoulder burned with sudden pain, and she dropped a stone she was holding, her hand flying to hold her shoulder in pain. She watched as the sky turned red, and she felt herself turn around to look at a beam of light coming from the western district. Something... compelled her to go to it.
"Haji," she spoke. "I know I ask this every time some weird crap happens, but you're seeing this too, right?"
She began walking back to the shore of the river, letting out a shiver as the pain in her shoulder subsided and the cool air rushed through her. She could feel the fish rush by her ankles, away from the source of the light. "Huh?" She asked, looking over her shoulder to see the fish in the river and the birds in the sky fleeing the scene.
If mother nature didn't like what was happening, it was enough of an indication for her that this was something terrible. After all, animals are always the first to sense natural disasters, and are subsequently the first to flee.
She felt an impulsive tug pulling her closer to the source, and as she stood on dry land and unrolled her pants legs, she glanced over at Haji.
"We need to check that out." No explanation or elaboration, just impulse. She slipped on her shoes, wet feet and all, and began making her way back up the incline, to the street nearest to the shore, which was luckily (or unfortunately) already a part of the Western district.

Haji would wince as he felt a sharp pain, and he would look to see it originated from the strange mark he had since that strange day in Old Town... He was fixated on it when he heard Ariadne's voice, and he would look up to see the beam of light in the sky in the Western District.
"Yes, I am..." He said quietly, backing away slowly. "Perhaps we should have stayed home today."
He gripped his fist, pushing the pain out as he made his way back to dry land. The cold breeze sent chills across him as his feet left the water, but it hardly fazed him as he couldn't get the thought of investigating it out of his head. Was it just a part of his inquisitive nature as an investigator, or something else?
"Ah, Ariadne! Wait!" Haji would call out, hurriedly putting his shoes back on as he hopped and jogged after her, his hand clenching his sakabato just in case it was needed soon. He would slow down to a walk once he was by her side, gulping as he stared ahead at the light.

As they arrived at the location of the beam they would find themselves outside a strip mall with some cleaning company called Gloves & Rugs. Christa would recognize a Silver Haired Man standing amongst the many bodies that WR, Rai, and Stevie would recognize as the crew investigating the marks. The beam of red energy flying into the sky seemed to be coming from him as he held A Tattooed Man some would know as Sean Barker up by his neck. Sean had already begun to lose consciousness at this point with drool and foam coming from his mouth, his eyes rolled to the back of his head as he hung with a few involuntary shakes. On the ground around them would be the crew. Jewel, Adam, David, Tsui, and Amanda. All of which appeared heavily injured and bleeding from multiple wounds. If they were conscious they were groaning in extreme pain. Each and every one of them had marks which were glowing except for Sean Barker himself. Those with marks could feel each and every one of them, there was some sort of mass reaction, the people on the ground, their marks were begging for help, for someone to save them. While the white haired man would make those with marks feel a shiver run down their spine. Something was very different from last time. Those without marks would still see the glowing marks, even on the others who just showed up to help. Faythe would see after a few moments that it wasn't an attack or disaster on the city as nothing else seemed to be happening, though people were starting to panic. Ariadne and Haji would make their way through panicked civilians until they would also come across the scene of the Silver Haired Mans body wrapped in red light firing into the air like a pillar as he holds and chokes the man in the camo pants.

Jasper was terrified at the sight before him. This was something out of a nightmare! The marks, people foaming from the mouth and having glowing marks and a silver haired man standing in the middle of it all. He wanted to help, he just had no idea what to do. He'd stay hidden and out of sight, starting to record the audio and video of the situation. If the opportunity presented itself he would do whatever he could, but as of right now interfering would only make matters worse. So he geared up and braced himself for the worse. He'd try and call Rai while he was at sure, sure he was already coming, but wanting to give a little preemptive intel.

Oh no. He's totally giving off bad guy vibes but he's got silver hair. He's totally my type. I slicked my hair back and adjusted my eyepatch as I stepped up towards the guy. I stayed a respectable distance back, surely out of striking range. I didn't want to end up like those guys making all that noise. Jeez, read the room a little will you?
"Hey. I can appreciate the whole bad guy, people groveling in pain at your feet thing. But I'm thinking as two equally handsome men, we can probably talk this out. Maybe over some coffee?"
I attempted to approach the man as a peer in an attempt to disengage him. I might have gotten over zealous with the hero thing. It's been ages since I worked out.

Rai clenched his fist as he saw Barker and his crew. Shit... they were all so strong, this must be that friend that they fought so hard to subdue. It looks like he had gotten stronger, and whats more... his marks weren't glowing. He would see another man approach and start talking to him...
"Yo, careful."
Rai would call out as he too approached the man in the middle.
"That man in his hand is his best friend. If he is willing to do that to him, take a guess at what he would be willing to do to you."
What Rai looked around as he saw there were a few people with Marks present not just him WR and Stevie. This wasn't looking good. He could feel the pain that the kids were in and it made him clench his teeth. What the hell was this man doing.
"This isn't the first time they tried to stop you. Why won't you let them help you?!"
Rai called out to the Silver Haired man.

Nagi would calmly climb out of the car, backpack on his shoulders. Tapping the driver's arm, he jerked a thumb behind him.
"Best leave. Thinking you want no part of this."
That said, Nagi stayed towards the back of those gathered, phone on and recording/streaming to the world, a button camera on his shirt adding an additional view point as events unfolded.

"I need an explanation as fast as you can, Raikotsu." If she was able Stevie would try to make her way to the people on the ground to help drag them away and see what little she could do. She'd flip her phone opend and call the hospital. "Send as many ambulances as you can to my location. We're gonna need some serious help down here."

Haji made his way through the crowd, feeling uneasy at seeing so many panicked faces. If it were up to him, he'd help each and every one of them, but... right now, he needed to find the source of their panic and possibly exorcise it. And soon, it would come to light as he made it past everyone.
His eyes widened and his jaw dropped a bit as he saw where the light was emanating from. A silver-haired man, holding a tattooed man... Did this have to do with his mark hurting? He felt uneasy for reasons he couldn't quite place, but he didn't intend to back down if he could help it.
"Ariadne... you are seeing this too, yes?" Haji finally said, keeping a fair distance from the glowing man. He was prepared to fight if need be, but he didn't know the capabilities of this foe, which made it unsafe to engage recklessly.

Addy observed the scene, stunned. "H-Hey that's my line," she spoke to Haji. She glanced between the different bodies, and her fight or flight response started to kick in, taking Haji's hand as she took a step away. They needed to get out, they needed to run. Every time weird shit like this happens, they somehow end up caught in the middle. Try as she might, she couldn't bring herself to walk away, it was like something was pulling her closer to the scene.
"They have those marks," she spoke to Haji, pointing out that the victims had strange tattoos like they did.
Her eyes widened, connecting the dots. Fuck! "We're next." She spoke, her hand going to clasp her shoulder, where her mark was. "They all have those tattoos, too, Haji, we need to go."
Something was dragging them here, and Addy had a very strong feeling that it wasn't for any good reason.
