Kenjiro had contacted Leon earlier in the day to see if he had any free time tonight. He potentially had some stuff that he would like to discuss, but more importantly, he was seeking something else. He wanted to experience fighting Leon himself. He had seen small feats here and there, but he had yet to have a chance to get a little one on one match in with him.
He made his way toward the entrance of the Lightning Tower. Ken had arrived a little earlier than he had specified and made his way through the lobby toward the dojo within. Once he hit the doors, he would take his shoes off outside and bow out of habit.
As he entered, he would unbutton the deep red shirt he wore and pull it off to reveal the healing tattoo upon his back. The white backpack he brought with him would be settled near the wall, before he dropped the shirt on it. Then he would pull some wraps free to wrap his hands and wrists.
He would use the remainder of his time to limber up and stretch until the Raijin head arrived.

It wouldn't be long for Ken to wait before Leon appeared through the doorway carrying a gym bag of his own. He wore sweats and dropped his bag near Kens, and removing his sweat shirt and dropping it off. Seeing Ken wrapping his hands Leon would reach into his bag and grab his own wraps. He'd be wrapping his hands as he approached Ken. Leon was barefoot and grinning.
"You sure you want a piece of me, Okazaki-san? The rumors on the streets are blown way out of proportion compared to the actual me."
Leon decided to see what Ken's thoughts were on the titles spoken on the streets of The Lightning Dragon, and the Raijin, God of Lightning. Though he was considerably slower than he was when he favored those titles, he was still pretty strong.

"Oyabun- If I'm to stand at your side, then I need to know what you're capable of."
He had spoken without turning, finishing the last bit of his stretching up before he would turn toward Leon and give him a bow out of respect. The serious look on his face softened a bit, a smile appearing as he spoke again.
"Where you are weak, I will be strong. Together, we'll be force to be reckoned with- Take your time, stretch out if you need. I'm ready whenever you are."

Leon would listen to Ken, it made sense his intentions so Leon would stretch out his knees and hips, rotating his upper body and stretching his shoulders. He'd give a few light punches and kicks to the air to loosen himself up. With about forty percent of Leon's body being scars or burn marks it probably looked the most strange for how well he moved.
"When I fought Oni-Baba, I was quite rusty. I have been training ever since however, so do be careful."
Leon would give a quick nod before disregarding a stance entirely and rushing forward whipping his left fist up relaxing his arm and allowing it to get it's energy from the rotation of his hips before attempting to crash it across Ken's chin and face with a knife hand.

Ken, like Leon, also carried his own scars, though not nearly as many. His, most mostly from fire-arms or knives, while Ken could only imagine how his boss had gotten his. This also wasn't the time, as Leon spoke and then moved to action.
As Leon came in, Ken would judge that he was perhaps just a little faster than he was himself. He was unsure just how hard Leon could hit though, so he would lean in the to the right slightly as his right arm took shot movement to lift vertically at the elbow. His left hand would cup his own forearm to fortify the block further.
Leon's blow would connect and Ken's body would shift away from it in recoil, a numbing wave jarring his limb. Insteading fighting the transferred momentum, he would attempt to spin and give his back temporarily as his primed left elbow would look to drive into Leon's torso in retaliation.

Leon would take the shot from the dagger point of the elbow Ken drove into him, grunting with the force as he tried to flex through it. He felt the pain of it ripple through him like a sound vibrating his organs, with his punch reaching full follow through thanks to Ken's spin however, Leon would bring the fist back like a hammer to smash across Ken's face and head, doing his best to maintain his position from the blow he received to accomplish this.
Like with Baba Leon hadn't expected that kind of force from people. It was a nice surprise mostly because at one point Leon had suspected he had possibly reached the plateau the pinnacle of capabilities. Even out of practice and full of rust he was very strong. However, as the new blood flowed through and the people showed new growth and abilities, he wondered... Can the limits be pushed even further than he had seen them before?

In a split second after Leon struck Ken, he would see - rather than the true combatant before him - the body of his son, as if risen from the grave. Ken's mind would be momentarily haunted with an image of Malia being struck by hands that were not his own. Just as quickly as they came, the visions would leave. From the vents leading to the dojo, the faintest hint of some black taint in the air could be seen if they paid enough attention.
Out in the lobby, a commotion could be heard stirring. Shouting. For now.

Despite the rust, Ken could tell Leon knew what he was doing. He wouldn't dodge the hammer fist, it would strike him as intended and as Ken lost his footing and was forced backwards, his mind flashed a vision of Malia being hit. The distraction was enough that Ken found himself firmly planted upon his ass as his head spun from the solid blow. However, he was completely thrown off his game.
"Huh!? S-Something's wrong-"
Ken's attention was pulled from Leon, he wouldn't explain why as he found his eyes darting the room and then toward the vents, his eyes narrowed and he would push himself up on his feet when the commotion came from outside the dojo. He would make for the room at a decent pace, to seek out what was happening. He was sure Leon would follow, if not pass him altogether.

The vision Leon saw caused him to go rigid, taking an actual fighting stance with open claw formed hands ready to tear apart someone or something, however it was over. Leon shook his head and caught his barings before noting the black smoke and the commotion. As Ken made his way to the door Leon went for his bag, grabbing his gloves, and suit jacket. Then pulling out his Bokken of the bag heading to the lobby.
"Gear up, Okazaki-san."
Leon would head out into the lobby hopefully prepared for what was to come. Though he wasn't even warmed up yet, it was time for action.

As the duo went to the door, they would find it would not budge. The handle would turn, but it made no outward motion - it was not locked, then, but barred, perhaps. Whatever had happened since entering this room, it had happened quick, and the mist inside that may have been hardly noticeable was now growing thicker and thicker.
Outside, the commotion was growing rapidly. What was only shouting to start was now accompanied by sounds of thrashing, things being broken, glass shattering, and people screaming. Gunshots that were quickly silenced. It had escalated quickly and seemed to not be slowing down.

"Right."
Ken's direction only changed momentarily so that he could go scoop up his shirt, and pull his own bokken from the straps on the side of his bag. He wouldn't bother to button the shirt, instead moving back toward the door. However, it appeared it seemed to be locked? Barricades from the outside or something?
Ken was unsure. But if he had learned how to get through anything lately, it was a god damn door. Worked every other time, why not try again? He would step backwards, noticing the mist growing thicker.
"Shit- The mist is coming.
He waited no longer, taking a couple steps before he tried to kick the door open.

Leon would also note the growing thickness of the mist and frown with a small growl of displeasure, before joining Ken in his position. They would kick this particular door together. Leon would match Ken's motions and kick the shit out of the door. There was no reason to spare anymore words, things were going down outside this room and Leon would be damned if he spent it on some hell trip inside the gym.

With their combined efforts, the two would feel the door tearing off of its frame as it opened, with sounds of metal cracking and - oddly enough - flesh tearing. But when the door opened, they would see no bars in the way, only blood coming from the walls and a strange black and red substance that almost resembled flesh. Upon leaving the dojo and heading out to the lobby, they would hear all of the commotion suddenly stop. Blood poured into the hallway. They could hear sounds of thunder and flashes of thunder, as the windows in the lobby seemed to be broken. When they finally made it to the room, they'd see the floor was littered with dead bodies and the walls and even the ceiling were sprayed with blood. Bodies were torn open, dismembered, ripped apart in the most obscene of ways. In the center of it all stood a single boy with heterochromia, wearing nothing but ragged white pants. The rain from outside washed away some of the blood on his body, but most of it would not leave. "Why did you say yes why did you say yes why did you say yes why did you-" red and blue eyes slowly looked up through blood, rain, and tears toward Ken and Leon. One step forward, through a pool of blood, and that very pool began to ripple. "WHY DID YOU SAY YES?! WHY DID YOU SAY YES?! WHY DID YOU SAY YES?!" he started to shout now, and as he did, the bodies that were not already torn open had their chests violently ripped part by some unseen force. Their organs formed tendrils of blood that shot out toward the duo in a gory display. Leon's eyes would widen at the display before him, Raijin dieing all around. A personal attack on the Sudeki Family? At their headquarters? The balls on this group... However, Leon didn't know what was vision and what was real, so he would rely on instinct, lashing out with the bokken with a wide arcing slash to deflect the gore tendrils as he charged the kid and went for a diagonal slash with the bokken from high right to low left to crack the kid over his head.
He wasn't going to banter today, but he needed a living specimen. The ones responsible would pay for the deaths today, he didn't fully blame the child either with his own assumptions... Yet, he was angry and this was the only target he could see.

"Oyabun~! Focus offense!"
Ken would almost mirror Leon's strike against the tendril and look to follow up behind Leon, only to stop and hold his bokken at the ready. Ken would play defense, keeping his head on a swivel as he looked to try and fend off any other potential tendrils that this child would send their way.
Something about this kid was unnerving, aside from the obvious macabre display before them. 'Why did you say yes?' he gritted his teeth as he tried to fight off the happenings at the dock. This time, it seemed maybe they could catch someone directly involved. This had to be related to everything else- And they chose to come right to Lightning Tower. This was war now.
