"Right," WR would nod. They would take a mental note of his words before jumping back into their bounce position.
They found their focus as soon as Leon began his charge, and they would raise a brow as they slid under him, evading the kick with relative ease, and unleashing a return punch to his groin as they went under him -- they didn't quite have the heart to focus his no-no square. This would put them behind Leon, and they would use this to their advantage by striking at the back of his neck while he was repositioning himself, while instinctively throwing their body to the side of him, so that they would be behind him again if he turned around to respond to their last attack.

Having committed to the kick when WR slid under and went for the groin shot it was probably the best plan for that moment, getting away with a clean hit to a vulnerability was key to victory in a fight. So he pulled his leg in finishing his turn with enough speed to prevent WR's next attack from being to the back of his neck instead catching him in the cheek.
Leon wasn't going to stop moving just cause of the nut shot, he also knew he had ten seconds before the real pain set in, so his initial reaction to getting hit in the below the belt was to ignore it for as long as possible. Thanks to this his legs weren't pressed together and his hands weren't grasping his baby baskets, meaning that as he took the blow to the cheek he would be throwing a hammer fist into WR's gut! If they continued with their attack that was initially aimed for their neck.

WR's eyes widened as they saw his fist coming for their gut, so they would retract their punch as quickly as possible and leap to the side. At least this way if his punch connected, they would have twisted with it instead of breaking their balance to risk falling down again. Fortunately, the punch only grazed their stomach, but it almost made them lose their focus again, knowing it would have probably knocked the breath out of them if it hit.
They would aim their next attack at the elbow that extended the punch in an attempt to dislocate his arm -- but they knew they didn't quite have enough momentum to achieve that, so they would release it early to duck behind him again and take a left sweep toward the back of his right knee, before jumping back to break the distance between them.
WR never saw themself a fighting type, but they had to admit: this felt good.

His grin widened when he saw the punch for his elbow instead, with big powerful blows it was harder to reverse the momentum of an attack so he followed through instead, though WR didn't commit to the move enough for anything to happen, had they aimed right and allowed Leon's own momentum to combine with theirs it's likely he'd be going away from this one with more than a bruise. However they seemed to want to stay behind him, which was a good strategy, Leon supposed it must have been about survival, but it still felt like running away to him. It didn't mater though they were doing more than he expected already.
As the kick collided with the back of his knee he threw the leg out in a kick to nothing, simply hurling the momentum of the kick and his rotation from before in an upward direction before kicking off the ground with his left sending himself into a spinning back flip, coming around to drop his left foot in a falling heel kick aimed to smash WR on the top of the head!

WR was surprised to not only successfully land their blows, but also break the distance between them without taking any blows from him, which was a victory of its own. They felt a small sense of pride in doing so, but would ensure to not get cocky as that would only get them hurt in the end.
They would take a quick huff before returning to their bounce, making sure that they kept up their momentum for his next attack, which seemed to be a kick aimed at their head again, this time from way up above -- that they weren't expecting. They made a quick mental note that he only aimed for their head and gut, which they intended to use against him later if they could find the right positioning.
Because Leon also had to deal with gravity now, they knew it'd be more difficult for him to redirect himself until he was on the ground again. They quickly jumped out of the way, going for another punch to his groin as he landed, but this time they wouldn't retract their fist, ideally incapacitating him.

Unfortunately for WR, Leon was not one to leave himself open as every time he took to the air it was a trap that lay in wait for his opponent. He had spent many years fighting as an aerial acrobat and every opponent made the mistake of attacking him when he did thinking he was vulnerable, when his kick obviously was on the missing end he had already moved his arms into to protect his upper body and lower body, right arm bent across his chest with his fist resting near his chin and his left arm down towards his gut. So, when he saw the one dimensional attack for his groin come in as he landed his left hand would go out to catch the arm by the wrist, continuing his momentum of a fall and dragging the arm down to the ground to force WR to bend over.
If that worked he would jut his head out and forward to smash his head into WR's face as they bent forward from being yanked to the floor like that.

The only words that could describe WR's current situation were 'oh' and 'shit'. In hindsight, the trap he was setting was very obvious, and it was one they felt very stupid for falling for. Fortunately, surviving the oncoming onslaught meant it was a mistake they would only make once. Unfortunately, their movements were very limited now that Leon had grip of their arm.
WR would attempt to ragdoll themself as Leon took them down to the floor, which would dislocate their shoulder, but it would give them a little extra room to maneuver as he came in for a headbutt. If they attempted to dodge it, they would leave their neck vulnerable which could very well kill them with enough force, so instead they would raise their other arm to block it. It was possible the impact would break that arm too, but at least it would lessen the blow to their face a significant amount.

When Leon felt WR's shoulder give he reached out with his right hand to catch WR by the front of the shirt to keep them from hitting the mat and his head. He would stand with a smile.
"That's enough."
He'd let go of WR and walk them over to a bench to sit before dialing the medical wing for someone to come check out WR's shoulder.
"This is training right now. No need to injure you before your big debut."

It wasn't until Leon stopped his headbutt and lifted them off the ground that they felt the pain from their shoulder, which would provoke a pained groin as they slowly took a seat on the bench.
With that rush of adrenaline dead and gone, WR began to feel the rest of their body, which was still trembling from the earlier blows. This'd probably only leave a few bruises after their shoulder was fixed up, which was something to smile about, but then they'd stop dead in their tracks and raise a brow at Leon after hearing a few certain words.
"What do you mean by 'big debut'?"

Leon would cross his arms as he shook out his legs to keep his testicles from reseeding too far from the pain of the previous strike.
"Well, one of my enforcers came up with an idea for us to host an open fighting tournament in the city. I liked the idea simply because I like fighting and sanctioned fighting is less dangerous than underground fighting. So, I entered you into the tournament as soon as we started putting it together."

WR would nod and turn to look at the ground. Part of them wasn't surprised, but another part of them wanted to bitch slap Leon. This was what they signed up for though, and regardless of the outcome they'd end up making a name for themself. Their only worry was ending up having to fight someone they knew personally, like Rai... could they even take on Rai? They thought about it for a moment.
They'd made a lot of progress with their physical growth recently, so they were pretty confident they'd be able to handle most common fighters. Special entries or people like Leon was what scared them, but what were the chances?
"Well, alright," They'd say with a shrug, wincing as they remembered their shoulder was dislocated.
"When does it start? And you better not bid against me." They'd squint their eyes at him, then chuckle lightly.

Leon would go to respond, but the medical team had entered to fix WR's shoulder so he paused long enough for them to do their job and set the shoulder and sling WR up.
"The tournament is in a few weeks. We have time for practice and sparring, with some light training. So, we will be careful of injuries."

WR would sit in silence as the medical team worked their magic.
After a few minutes, they found themself greeting their new best friend!: A fucking arm sling. That was going to impact literally everything that they did, on work time AND on free time.
They'd sigh, then turn back to Leon as he began speaking again.
"Right. Let's get as much training in as possible, yeah?"

Leon would nod at WR.
"Yes, but rest is also part of training, we can have more fun tomorrow. Less fighting more building your core."

"Right. WR would nod.
After a few minutes of rest they'd gather their things and wave Leon off before heading back home. They had some quick healing to do...
