I belched out as I was roughly pushed out of the bar. “YEAH YEAH! THE SERVICE SUCKED I -HIC- WON’T BE BACK!”How could an establishment be so rude to their patrons over being a couple dollars short. Or the entire tab. I shook my head but then had to stop because it made me dizzy. So dizzy in fact I thought I saw a guy dancing in the street with a mannequin without any regard for oncoming traffic. Was he challenging me?! Brazenly walking through the streets not caring if you got hit by a car was my thing! And this guy wanted to up the ante by dancing while doing it? Well I wasn’t going to stand for that not on my watch.
I fluffed out my long blue coat behind me before taking my stance. Arms bent at a ninety degree angle in front of me, palms open towards the air, knees slightly bent. I faced my opponent before I grasped my hands as if someone else’s hands were in them. Then I began wantonly salsa dancing through the streets. I figured I’d turn up the heat with a hotter dance. “TOP THESE MOVES -hic- YOU LEGOLAS LOOKING BITCHING!”

It didn't take long for flags of a variety of colors to begin flying. On one end of the street, WR could make out their street-performing acquaintance, Payne, who seemed to be leading people to safety. Green flag. On the other end, they could make out a bald douchebag with terrible taste in suits. Yellow flag. They would simply shrug and call out to Payne, waving an arm to catch his attention. "Yo, over here!" They'd say, calmly walking over to him as panicked passersby ran in the opposite direction.
And that was when the asphalt began to cave up all around them, provoking more panic. There was the red flag.
WR would quicken their pace to rush to Payne's side, gripping the straps on their bag.

Valo continued to drive, turning his phone screen off as he shoved it back into his pocket. It wouldn't be long before the car came to a screeching halt, however. Aku would stumble, nearly falling off of the seat, and Valo would hold his arm out to prevent Soile from hitting the dashboard as he gripped the wheel tightly. "...Know of a Winchester in Anthem City?" He'd ask, wishing they never came home as he saw the strange person with the coffin walk out into the open. There was an indescribable sense of dread and foreboding as he looked ahead, and as they started dancing in the middle of the street, Valo realized they probably weren't getting through this way without incident. "Hold on. I'm going to see if we can find another street, maybe we can head to your parents' instead..."He wasn't about to deal with whatever the hell this was. Especially not with them here. Quickly shifting the car into reverse, Valo would start to back up quickly, keeping his eye on the coffin bearer as well as his rearview mirror.

Haji looked on in shock as the power mostly went off around them. The house was pitch-black, safe for the broadcast on the TV. And around the house, he could hear all kinds of strange buzzing noises. Needless to say, he was a little bit freaked out. His first thought was Valo had forgotten to pay the electric bill again, but why would the TV still be on?
"Ah, hold on... I believe my brother has a flashlight in his desk."
He would squeeze Ariadne's shoulder reassuringly as he got up from the couch, making his way to the nearby desk. He'd begin to rummage through the drawers, looking up at the computer on Valo's desk uneasily as it too was vibrating and humming.
"Ah, I have found it!" He said, finding the large black flashlight in the third drawer from the top. He would flick the switch to see if it would work.

"They are on the way."
Leon would grab his jacket and head out ordering a driver to go grab Nagi at his home. Leon himself jumped on his 1450 cc custom dragon Harley. Taking off towards the Amakusa Industries power plant!

Since there was no traffic along the way to the Amakusa Industries power plant he would take that route. He had no idea what he was going to do when he got there or what he even could do, he just kept driving towards the plant, he had to do something!

"Jesus Christ-" Payne watched in awe as the ground began to shift around them. What the hell was he supposed to do about that? He head darted to the side when he heard WR yell out, "Shit, you too? What do we even do about something like this?" There was a hint of panic in his voice, scanning the scenario in front of him for potential solutions to their problem. He rubbed both hands down his face, as much as he didn't like it there was only one obvious solution. "We need to deal with the creepy guy. If I can manage to distract him, can you get these people to safety?" He looked down at WR, "Unless you have a better plan?"
This wasn't the greatest plan Payne had ever come up with, but fuck it.

Post by Soile Nyland on Dec 4, 2020 22:03:01 GMT
Thank fucking God she was wearing a seatbelt. Soile lurched forward a bit, halted by both the seatbelt locking and by Valo's arm shooting in front of her. She held the box to her abdomen protectively, and she could hear Aku huff in protest behind her.
"Jesus Christ, this town really has turned into a circus," she commented. "Yeah, let's head to my parents' if we can, at least dad's got alcohol. Mom must be losing her head right now." Captain Jessica Boivin-Nyland of ACPD would be on a rampage, surely. That Clarke dude was always faced the brunt of her anger, he must be in his own special hell tonight.
Soile would turn around to make sure Aku was alright. "Oletko kunnossa, Aku?" She asked, her hand going behind her. Aku touched his snout to her hand. "Don't worry, things will be fine. Just some god-damn crazy people in the street," she spoke to the unnaturally large dog. Aku didn't seem very reassured.
The woman would turn back around and sit back in the seat. "This is great. Awesome." Her voice dripped sarcasm.

As Amelie made her way through the panicked city, she immediately regretted wearing high heels today. She stopped for a moment, unstrapping them and tossing them to the side. Could always buy new ones anyway. When she rounded the corner, Amelie was met with the sight of the coffin guy and immediately stopped in her tracks, "Oh you've gotta be fucking kidding me." There was no catching a break in this poor excuse for a town. Why did Father want to set up shop here anyway? She immediately turned around and began walking the opposite direction, maybe she should just find a sturdy building and hole up in there? She was so going on vacation after this shit storm was over.

Addy got up with Haji, her hands grazing the walls as they made their way to the desk. "I'm guessing this isn't a normal occurrence, losin' the lights and everything." She spoke. Addy had been there for a few months now, but she was still getting used to having all the fancy electric appliances. And nothing like this had happened yet.
She glanced around, hearing the humming and vibrating from the computer, the fridge, the PS4 by the TV. "Why... why the heck is shit... moving?" Oh fuck. If this was another nightmare scenario, she was leaving this city. On Gods. She did not have the mental capacity to deal with this shit again.
Addy would go to Valo's computer and unplug it, hoping it would halt whatever was causing it to vibrate and make noise. Simple problems call for simple solutions.

Loie would hear the sound of crackling fire and raking coals, and see smoke pass by her, before footsteps could next be heard. A man with smoke still rolling off of his body, dressed in a fur coat with a tight black tank top and golden chains around his neck, appeared beside her. "You seem to be the only one in this city that hasn't hit full-blown panic. Are you one of us?"Nagi, Leon, and Areon would all arrive at the Amakusa Industries Power Plant around the same time. The main gate had only a single man in front of it. He was tall, but incredibly thin and pale, with shaggy black hair. As he watched the cars approach, his body spasmed, as he appeared to be having some sort of coughing fit, and a strange black mucky substance began to spill from his mouth. Seconds after this substance hit the ground, the wheels of all the vehicles in use would pop without warning. "Please... do not do this..." a voice that sounded as if it came from within the vehicles could be heard, and the boy fell to a knee as the plea was made. Bennie could see as the individual in the middle of the street essentially ignored Date, as they noticed the car halt, and begin to drive away. "That won't do, will it, Leesa?" the individual began to speak to themselves. "No, my dear brother... no it will not," they said with a smile, turning to look at the mannequin. "We can allow no one to leave." "Of course, I know this - but as you can see -" "Yes, we have another guest here. Then perhaps one of us should stay..." "... and the other will go. Of course. Very well then." "What are you waiting for?" "Excuse me?" "It's my turn to keep the body." "... I was hoping you'd forget."The figure held the mannequin upright and slowly opened their mouth. As they did, fiery energy poured out of it and into the mannequin, and within seconds, the mannequin began to move on its own. Without skipping a beat, they both held up a closed hand in front of each other as if to play rock, paper, scissors - and that's exactly what they did. The body held up rock, and the mannequin held up scissors, causing the mannequin to- "Fuck!" it growled, before propelling upward on streams of fire and blasting angrily through the air after the car. "Be safe!" the man called, chuckling to himself before turning to face Date. "Now, as for you - that was rude, but you've made my job a little easier." With a snap of his fingers, wind picked up rapidly in the area, as if pulling Bennie, Date, and Amelie closer toward him. Valo and Soile would be driving away, before the night sky was lit up with streams of fire as the mannequin from before could be seen clearly following behind them. "You're making my job harder, you fucks!" it called out, before lobbing a massive ball of fire toward the back end of the car. If it hit, it'd deal massive damage to the vehicle and cause it to fishtail. Harthe and Payne seemed to have drawn next to no attention so far, but they could see that this man was letting no one leave. After a moment, he could be seen signaling for someone to come toward him, and individuals in black robes, carrying a large, mechanical beacon of sorts, made their way in. This, of course, only incited more panic, as the beacon was massive and its purpose was currently unknown. Haji's flashlight would, indeed, work, just long enough for both him and Addy to catch a glimpse of a man, blacker than night with piercing yellow eyes, standing within the room with them. With a wave of his hand, the light would go out and a popping sound could be heard coming from the flashlight, as if it'd been sabotaged. Anyone still checking the stream would simply see the timer still going down, with various workers in the background still experimenting with something in the power plant.

As the man ignored Date, it only served to make him dance harder. He cut the proverbial rug like no other, in his mind. In reality he looked like a drunk swinging around. Date made a big finish, by dipping himself backwards. Only to be drawn in by the wind towards the man. Truth be told, the dancing had made Date a little nauseous. Being dragged by this wind didn't help, he ended up projectile vomiting in the direction of the man he insulted.
"Ughhh... I mean you're right..."
Date wiped his mouth with his coat sleeve. He was feeling a little better now that he didn't have quite as much alcohol in his stomach. He stumbled and moved along with the wind moving towards the man before holding a hand out.
"That was uncalled for. Truth be told, I just kicked out of a bar and I think I took some of my frustration out on you. How about I buy you a drink to make up for it?"
Date was a big enough man to know when he was at fault.

Stopping his vehicle Leon would get out, this kid reminded him of the strange one that attacked the Tower. And if it was going to be that way... If so they had some unfinished business. If Leon were protecting something he wanted to happen he'd have his strongest or best fighter out here, so it was time to go all out, drawing his Bokken he would approach.
"I'd ask you to step aside, but I'm sure you are at least as committed as the other Cambions. So I won't insult you like that. Instead I'll defeat you so you have an excuse."
Leon would continue to approach the kid until he was about ten feet away before going full speed right for him aiming to swing the Bokken with his right arm vertically aiming for the top of the kids head!

Areon would come to a stop gripping his wheel and staring at the guy who spoke seemingly through his car. He was incredibly afraid, but he must of made it to the right place. Some guy seemed to know what was going on and went to attack the guy! What was Areon going to do?! He wasn't a fighter! No... He was a driver!
Areon would punch the gas aiming to drive around the fight and crash the gate with his shit tires!

Addy's eyes shot wide as she caught a glimpse of the figure in the darkness, her heartbeat quickening. "Apollo help me," she muttered, before addressing Haji, her eyes still trained to the spot the shadowy man had been standing. "Please tell me you saw that," she whispered.
In the pockets of her cardigan were her lego knuckledusters, and as she stood up slowly from where she'd knelt to the ground, she'd go to slip them on. Her eyebrows furrowed. They needed some sort of light. Addy wasn't confident in her ability to throw punches at a figure she couldn't see, especially given that Haji was in the room.
She wasn't going to be able to fumble around for a match to light a candle, and if none of the lights were working outside of the glaring hum of the TV, then they needed to confront this thing there. Or, they could leave the house. Light pollution and moonlight was enough for her, but she had the feeling Valo wouldn't be too pleased if Haji and Addy abandoned the building with a stranger inside. Gods dammit, why'd this have to be in the dark? She couldn't help but be reminded of the incident with Sebastian and Loie. This wasn't going to happen twice.
"Grab your sword," she told Haji. She'd make her way to the front door and attempt to open it, her eyes and ears strained to discern the position and movements of the stranger with them.
